ALCORE Modern Manufacturing Grant Update

ABx Group Ltd (ASX: ABX) provides a key update on its subsidiary ALCORE Limited’s progress with the Modern Manufacturing Initiative grant awarded by the Federal Government. The $7.58 million grant has been instrumental in supporting ALCORE’s pioneering process to produce hydrogen fluoride and industrial chemicals from aluminium smelter waste, enhancing Australia’s sovereign capability in critical minerals production. Despite the grant's conclusion in March 2025 and the requirement to repay a portion, the project remains on track with the continuous pilot plant construction in Bell Bay, Tasmania. ALCORE and DISR are collaborating on an optimal repayment schedule to ensure project continuity, with no impact observed on plant progress.
