ABx Group's 83%-owned subsidiary ALCORE is making progress to develop of its continuous pilot plant project adjacent to the Bell Bay aluminium smelter in Tasmania. 

Recently, Managing Director Mark Cooksey participated in an interview with Mining.com.au's Shae Russell to outline the major milestones to be expected as the facility progresses towards production.

The pilot plant will demonstrate ALCORE’s world-first proprietary process to produce industrial chemicals, including hydrogen fluoride, from a waste product created during the aluminium smelting process.
